Clothes

Monsoon is likely to make you sweat more than summer for monsoon increases the level of humidity by manifolds. Avoid wearing uncomfortable clothes, especially when you have a big tummy.

To stay comfortable, make sure that you wear fitting clothes or clothes that are slightly loose. Avoid wearing clothes that are made of synthetic fabrics as they retain perspiration and heat.

Hygiene

Bathe at least twice a day to make sure that you stay cool and fresh. Keep a wet tissue or towel dipped in cool water handy so you can use it whenever you want to wipe sweat and grime away. Use a spray of rose water to spray it on your face to feel fresh and clean.

Make sure that you never step outdoors barefoot. Dirty water that is mixed with soil and sewage can lead to several infections. Therefore, wash your feet and hands with warm water and a disinfectant soap to keep them clean and shielded against infections and other skin problems.

Food and Drink

Keeping yourself well hydrated is the key to surviving summer and monsoon. Drink plenty of water and make sure that you drink only filtered water. If you experience any symptoms of headache, nausea, fatigue or dizziness, talk to your doctor.

Avoid eating foods that are served by street vendors. Such foods include fruits, fried fruits, juices, water/milk based drinks, etc. If you must eat out, choose a place that is known for its hygiene.
